Religion based harassment is kind of a funny thing. Not everybody has a religion and not everybody has the same faith in their religion or the same emotional investment in their religion.
In our state we protect everyone’s right to have a religion or not as they choose. In the work place you cannot be harassed or discriminated against because of your religious belief in a particular type of faith, or because of the strength of that belief. If you have the need to observe any religious rights or holidays you have a right to request a reasonable accommodation from your employer as long as your believe is sincere.
If you’re being harassed, intimidated, abused because you are a believer or not a believer our law against discrimination protects against that as well.
