Benefits
An injured worker under the long shore and harbor compensation law is entitled to three benefits - the first is the right to have medical treatment provided and paid for by the employer and its insurance company. The second benefit is to receive temporary disability benefits while he is unable to work and under an active care of a physician. The third benefit - he is entitled to is a claim for permanent disability.
