People often ask me, “What’s the philosophy or your firm and how do you deal with your clients?” We begin with the recognition that this may be the most difficult period you’ll ever go through in your life, and we understand that you’re under stress, that you need to have your questions answered and you need to have your phone calls returned. We have a staff that assists us if one of the lawyers is in court. Our paralegals will get back to you with an answer to your question, or at least to let you know when we will able to return your call. We use email a lot so that our clients can send us a question. And we may get back from court at the end of the day or even at crazy hours in the morning and you’re gonna get an email from us. We want our clients to know that we honor the fact that they came to us with their problem and we take it very seriously. We hope that they will walk out of our office at the end of the day, maybe they didn’t get every penny they wanted, but they know that they were treated with respect, that their questions were answered, that we were responsive to their phone calls, and that they were important to us.
