Aggressive driving is an offense that carries more than one violation. Normally it’s speeding and changing lanes without using your signal or tailgating somebody or reckless driving. It’s more than just one violation, it’s a combination of violations you’re creating a danger to yourself and to other motorists on the road in fact most police departments have special patrols to stop aggressive drivers the same way they have patrols to stop people who drive while intoxicated. If you engage in aggressive driving, you’re facing more than just a run of the mill moving violation. I mean they’re probably gonna hit you with reckless driving, tailgating -- tailgating carries five points by the way, and speeding or failure to use your signal, so anytime you engage in that type of activity because you’re, you know, just impatient to get where you want to go, you may face some serious consequences and it’s not unusual for a prosecutor to seek a license suspension for aggressive driving depending on the nature of it.
